Two Disputed Colorado Cases · 11 September 2006

Opponents of academic freedom have fixated on the two cases detailed below in order to attack our Academic Bill of Rights and our campaign for academic freedom and intellectual diversity on college campuses. We have mounted our campaign for academic freedom based on hundreds of testimonies from liberal as well as conservative students in more than 30 states and at colleges from coast to coast, but our opponents have pounced on these two examples in an attempt to discredit all the evidence we have gathered and have magnified these two minor incidents and presented them as though they were the basis of our campaign. Moreover, they have distorted the facts of these cases, relying solely on the information provided by the university authorities who have much to gain by obscuring embarrassing details. For more information on these two cases, please visit the links below.
